the Consul General
Consul General Peter Potman was appointed in Augustus 2011 to Shanghai and the provinces Jiangsu, Zheijang en Anhui.
In case of absence the Consul General is replaced by the Consul, Mr. Huub Buise.
Peter Potman has been working at the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 1988. He has held several offices at the Ministry in The Hague, as well as postings abroad in Washington (2004-2008), Geneva (1994-1997) and Beijing (1989-1992). He is married to Ingrid d’Hooghe and has two children.
