Dutch Week Shanghai 2012, which took place from April 22 until April 27 can be considered a big success.
3 Closure Dates for Labour Day
The embassy and the consulates-general of the Netherlands will be closed on 30 April 2012 (Queen’s Day) and 1 May 2012 (Labour Day).
4 Important Information for Dutch citizens
As of 1st May 2012, Consular section of Consulate General of Shanghai will introduce the appointment system for Dutch citizens. For Dutch passport renewal, consular statements, signature legalization etc, please make appointment via http://shanghai-nl.embassytools.com/ Appointment can be made every working days between 14:00 and 16:00 hours.

(URGENT) BUSINESS VISA APPLICATIONS: For business visa applications, we strongly advice you to make an appointment online through http://shanghai-visa.embassytools.com as soon as possible. STUDENT VISA APPLICATIONS (MVV): For student’s visa application, you can come freely every Wednesday between 09:00-10:30 without any appointments. This policy is only effective during the peak season from May 01 to Oct 31. Therefore we urge you NOT to make an appointment but you are welcome every Wednesday between 09:00-10:30 for submission of your application. 6 Dutch Reception at Annual SIAL Food Exhibition in Shanghai
During this year’s SIAL the Consulate General in cooperation with the Agriculture Bureau of the Dutch Embassy in Beijing will host a reception for the Dutch exhibitors at SIAL on 9 May.
7 Early April opening hours
Due to the celebration of the Chinese Qingming festival, the Dutch embassy and the consulates-general in China will be closed on Wednesday, 4 April. The Dutch representations in China will also be closed on Monday, 9 April due to the celebration of Easter.

Green Building China（www.greenbuildingchina.com）, one of the top Expos in China’s construction industry, will be hold from 27 March to 29 March 2012 in Shanghai New International Expo Center (2345 Longyang Rd, Pudong).
