Dutch Profiles at Night @ RAM
The Dutch Design Fashion Architecture programme and the Rockbund Art Museum present the first part of the Dutch Profiles series at RAM night. Dutch Profiles are short documentaries about architects, graphic, product and fashion designers in the Netherlands. Containing interviews with both well-known and upcoming Dutch designers, Dutch Profiles focus on their conceptual approach, their work process, and the context of their projects. The first session will explore the conceptual approach of Dutch Designers, unveiling the highly innovative thinking methods behind world reknowned design projects.

Promotional Conference of Holland Expo on March 1st
The Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Shanghai and Fortunit Investment Limited will hold a Promotional Conference for the Dutch Import Expo & Trade Center (Holland Expo). The conference will take place at Renaissance Shanghai Yangtze Hotel on the 1st of March 2012. The Holland Expo can provide an exhibiting and trading platform for Dutch companies who want to enter into the Chinese market. The Holland Expo is located in the Hongqiao CBD of Shanghai and is supported by the Dutch and Shanghai government. The conference will start from 16:30 and is followed by a business dinner. Companies interested in this project are most welcome to attend the event. The conference is free of charge. Please send your confirmation to sha-ea@minbuza.nl before 24th Feb.

Lecture Dutch artist Gabriel Lester at RAM
Gabriel Lester will give a lecture titled Time Space, a term indicating the three dimensions of space supplemented with the fourth dimension of time, focusing on his spatial installations. These artworks, resembles cinematic stage sets, architectural design and interior settings, strongly suggesting movement and dramatic evolution. Recognizing life as progressions through time and space, the lecture will also address narrative structures, the constitution of memory and a psychology of space. Gabriel Lester (b. Amsterdam 1972) started his artistic endeavor as a musician, stumbled into literature, studied cinema and finally became a visual artist. Dutch Profiles at Night @ RAM
The Dutch Design Fashion Architecture programme and the Rockbund Art Museum present the second screening of Dutch Profiles, a series of short documentaries about architects, graphic, product and fashion designers in the Netherlands. The second screening will revolve around burning social issues in contemporary urban environments and how Dutch designers unite to provide sustainable solutions.
